| BAD HARVEST Spam Protection | Visit Site | | BAD HARVEST is a form-mail CGI script designed to be called from links similar to "mailto:...". It helps you to hide email addresses from "harvesters" (automated email-address collectors) while still providing a convenient way for your visitors to contact you. It does not rely on JavaScript or PHP and works in every browser down to text browsers. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| Exterminator Script | Visit Site | | Prevents visitors using download managers from leeching images and programs from your website. Many visitors may be getting all they want from your website without actually viewing it and your sponsors. This is a powerful script for sites with free content who make the majority of their money with sponsors. Can save you a bundle in bandwidth costs as well. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| IIS_ipblock | Visit Site | | This script was written to help stop automated brute force attacks against your website. Are you tired of seeing www.yourdomain.com... ...cmd.exe in your log files? This script uses a custom 404 page that logs the IP address of the person making the 404 requests and after so many requests it adds that IP to the IIS servers deny list. There is some HOWTO information with the download...Be sure to read the README.html file! This script works against requests made via browser, wget, raw HTTP...maybe more. I updated this script to use a safe.log. You can add Ip's you dont want to ban in the safe log. IP's you might not want to ban are those used by Googlebot or Slurp (yahoo bot). | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| IPLog | Visit Site | | You place an SSI tag on your webpage and then whenever the page is loaded a database is updated with that persons IP in it. This is useful for security purposes especially on credit card orders! The database will log the hostname on the page, the IP on the page and time it was requested - obviosuly the page name and path is logged too. There are two modes of operation, administrators can either choose text based databases or MySQL based databases. This allows for the administrator to have a site ideally suited to him which grows with his/her requirements. The "administration" section of the website contains two pages. The first lists all the IPs and the pages (everything stored in the database in other words), and the second is a page which allows deletion of individual records of IPs or all at once. The "listing" page has links to the deletion page. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| Pass Gen | Visit Site | | PassGen, an easy way to make sure your users choose secure passwords to cut down on password hackers breaking their accounts open! Set comes with 2 scripts, one that allows them to enter data and generates a password based on that data, and one that randomly chooses a secure password and displays it for them. Both scripts use 2 arrays, 1 for letters(of both capital and lower-case letters) and the other for numbers 0 - 9. It iterates through a loop and picks out random numbers and letters and put them together. Given that they are random, it makes it very difficult to be "cracked" by malicious "hackers". It then returns the password and displays the page, generated_password.html in your templates/ subdirectory. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| Pass Hack Killer | Visit Site | | This script, when properly installed, will log and track any failed authentication attempts for your members area(s). When the failed number of attempts coming from one certain IP exceeds a limit you set, the script will automatically block that IP from accessing your entire site. This will also effectively block any person trying to brute-force their way into your members area(s). Whenever a block is placed, you will be notified by e-mail so you can take the appropriate action, e.g. contact the offenders ISP. The blocking system is totally automated, provided you have set up the correct .htaccess entries. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| Perl Spy | Visit Site | | Do you have pages that you want to keep visitors off such as login and security pages? Do you want to know as soon as a visitor lands in a particular page because you're just curious? Well, PerlSpy is a script that sends you an email alert the moment someone visits any "marked" page with all the info you need to know about that visitor such as IP, Host DNS, exact time of visit, the referring URL, the browser, OS, ...etc. You can easily "mark" those pages by inserting one line of HTML in them and the script does the rest. PerlSpy is not really a security system, it's not a counter either; it's something in between. Its applications are countless and depend only on your imagination and curiosity. Just don't flood yourself with emails if you're expecting millions of visitors :) | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |

| VVS, Visitor Verification Script for web forms | Visit Site | | Displays an ascii art image of a random sequence of letters/digits and asks the visitor to type the sequence in a field provided. If the typed sequence is the same as in the image, the original form script (action) is invoked. Otherwise, the visitor is asked to go back and correct what he/she typed before. VVS requires Perl with the CGI class. It works for any form script written in Perl, independently of whether the script uses CGI or cgi-lib.pl or etc. | | Rate | Refer |Detail | Bookmark |
